The hotel's ambiance was charming, with elegant decor and bright, accessible spaces that made moving around a joy for my friends and me. We particularly loved the comfortable seating areas that invited us to relax and chat.
More assistance from staff for elderly guests would help.

Room was great with amazing views. Wi-Fi was slow at times.

The Deluxe King Room offered stunning views with its floor-to-ceiling windows, making it a superb space to relax. Immaculately clean and modern, the room featured electric blackout blinds that ensured a restful sleep. I enjoyed the Italian strata from the onsite dining options, which provided a great social atmosphere. However, the only downside was the limited seating in dining areas during peak hours and some minor delays in service that could be improved.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, and the location was great for easy access to explore the city and enjoy the complimentary breakfast each morning.
Appeared short staffed as when I pulled up no one was there to assist with questions or bags.

missingWrote a review on Sept 27modern accommodationscomfortable roominviting atmospherecold pool
Modern accommodations with a comfortable King Room offered a nice view of the campus. Enjoyed the lobby area, which had a clean, inviting atmosphere perfect for relaxing.
The pool left much to be desired. it felt a bit too cold for a refreshing swim. The parking garage entrance also locked early, forcing some frustrating detours just to get back to our room. Housekeeping is on a call-to-schedule basis, which might be inconvenient for some, especially with a busy family setup. The shuttle to the Metro was not available on the days I stayed, which was quite a bummer with my family in tow.

I found the hotel super clean with friendly staff that made checking in a smooth process. The view of the University parkland from my room was fantastic, making the stay visually delightful. The dining options were varied and enjoyable, with quality eateries on-site. However, I faced issues with room service. I had to ask multiple times for cleaning and extra towels during my stay. It took a long time for housekeeping to clean the room, and they left me with only two towels for three people. Some room lights didn't work, which was a bit inconvenient. My room also had a cooling issue that took too long to address, leaving me uncomfortable at times during my stay.

I had a nice time staying here for 3 nights in a lovely Deluxe Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. The pool was relaxing and the body scrub at the spa was a treat! Only downside was that the lobby furniture could use a little love, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all. 😊

The location was easily accessible and close to the Metro, making travel convenient. I enjoyed the breakfast cafe, and the room was impressively clean with a well-designed bathroom. However, there was a moment of confusion with the elevator access, and I found myself slightly disappointed by the room this time compared to previous visits. Parking was convenient, but it would have been great if the lobby restaurants had more dining options available.

missingWrote a review on Sept 05spacious roomcomfortable bed
The location is extremely convenient for visiting the university, which was a lifesaver this trip. My room had a fantastic view and the bed was comfy, I mean, I sank into it after a long day, real luxury.
It definitely wasn’t cheap but I'm willing to pay for quality, not this chaos.

The Hotel At The University of Maryland had some strong points during my stay. The gym was excellent, fully equipped, and the pool area looked nice, although I didn’t get a chance to swim. I really enjoyed my time at the on-site spa. it was a great way to relax, and the staff there treated me well. The room was spacious, clean, and had a good view. I appreciated the convenient location near local attractions. However, there were some frustrating aspects. Check-in took way too long, around 30 minutes, and they seemed disorganized with room availability. My room was unfortunately too noisy. I could hear doors closing and conversations from the neighboring rooms. Also, I had issues with getting housekeeping services, as my requests went unanswered. Staff demeanor at the front desk could have been more welcoming, as they came off as unfriendly and unhelpful when I asked for assistance. These experiences left a lot to be desired, especially in a hospitality setting.

Just a solid selection for a weekend rest in College Park with good price-quality ratio. The room had automated blinds that were a bit tricky but added a unique touch. Make sure to check the dining options before heading out for meals.
